Sammy had been begging when Bob drank his juice one day, so he offered him some, assuming it would show Sammy that it wasn't something he really wanted.

But it was, so he got his juice every morning after that, plus spaghetti sauce whenever we had pasta.

5. I had one who...

Ate oatmeal and spaghetti. She insisted on trying whatever I was eating and would go through a dramatic, sob-story string of gestures to convince me that I had to let her try "it". Cookies were a funny one because she would actually pretend to eat it by open-mouthed chewing it up to make it into crumbs while flinging them around, like I wouldn't notice she was spitting it out!

She was a gas.

6. Our cats go crazy over corn on the cob ...

they try to nibble the ends when we set them on the table, and after we toss the shucks in the trash can.
