But being this is a song from 1951 I think it is the first rock and roll song. The B side is a classic blues song. This could easily be a song done in the 1960s. Even the topic screams classic rock and roll.

It appears on a compilation album called Chess Pieces (Chess Records compilation - a great album), and it is the most pure rock and roll song on that album. Only ones close from the 1950s on that album are Maybellene from 1955, Suzi Q from 1957, and Johnny B. Goode from 1958.
