What a great discussion on CNN regarding the double standard that exists today. I stopped dyeing my hair almost three years ago and it’s wonderfully freeing and empowering. No more harsh chemicals on my scalp every 5 weeks.

3. Good question! The male CNN host commented that it was suggested

he dye his hair grey, to look distinguished. Total double standard. If you want to color your hair, by all means, color your hair. If you don’t want to or have allergies to the dyes, it should be okay to be natural. People go grey at all ages, it shouldn’t be a societal requirement to all have dyed hair.

I’ve never dyed my hair. I can’t imagine the amount of chemicals it must take to make that transformation. Can’t be good for one’s health.
