Everything really is connected to everything else.

A dear friend gave me a beautiful antique Secretary. Well, the only place to put it is in the guest room/ office where the dresser is. The dresser gets moved to the cat room. So called because that’s where the litter boxes are. Anyhow.. much easier to move an empty dresser so empty all the drawers and thus began the great purge. Not a single drawer or closet has been spared. I’ve held on to sweaters and blankets my grandmother made that I never use. Better to pass them on to someone who will enjoy them. I’m sure she’d approve. Well, back at it!

Achieving the goal sometimes means accomplishing other unforeseen but related tasks. Satisfaction with the result before a gumption trap sets in, usually but not always, follows.

Good luck!

Been purging. Old electronics, clothes, linens, tools accumulated over 50+ years...all donated to a hospice thrift shop. It so reminded me of George Carlin's iconic "Stuff".
