I've been to Winnipeg and Dallas, which are at about 97.
I'd like to travel further west, including Hawaii. Perhaps someday.

(21,645 posts)compared to the rest of the country since I am already in NY state, just in the western area. Or, actually, a little farther east, an island off the coast of South Carolina. And also DC, although SC is farther east.
Farthest west is the Arizona desert around Scottsdale.
Farthest south is Florida, Tampa Bay region.
Farthest north - I grew up there, on the southern shore of Lake Erie, with a faint view of Canada across the lake on a clear day. But, farther north than that and still in the US, was Detroit. I'm not far from the Canadian border now, actually, in western NY.

(31,407 posts)is the most eastern spot of the US. I had a photo of my sons standing there, which I took on a family trip, but it was destroyed in our house fire.
I have also been to Hawaii, and been on all of the islands but Molokai.

(13,926 posts)You could spend the rest of your life seeing the US and Canada and never see it all..
I've been to all 49 states by motorcycle and feel I have missed so much
I have to go back!!
My riding buddy first started by exploring all the Lighthouses on the coast. Then all the National Parks etc. It's truly an amazing country to see and do things. And one of the perks is that we all kinda sorta speak the same language.

(50,566 posts)Most east is Salem, MA.
Most west...depending on whether you want the whole US or just the Continental US, it's either San Francisco or Honolulu.
Most north? I've been to the Canadian border north of Bonners Ferry, ID.
Most south? Homestead, FL, on the mainland, Islamorada on the Florida Keys, Honolulu if you want to add Hawaii.

(43,209 posts)Furthest East would probably be Highgate, Vermont at the Quebec border. (Also my furthest North)
Furthest West would be Las Vegas, Nevada.
Furthest South would be the famous marker in Key West, Florida.
I have seen the Atlantic Ocean plenty in my life, but unfortunately have yet to see the Pacific.
