Some carvings for the colorscapes art festival Norwich NY this weekend

We have been doing this show since 2011 one of my favorites they really treat the artists well.
They supply lunch and give a great breakfast on Sunday morning the whole event is very well organized.

They give out artist awards by category which can cover the cost of a booth.

One of the few shows I do live demonstrations at.

The commercial for profit organizations we avoid, some of our friends really got burned when a few went out of business taking their booth money with them.

It is dry brushed on in layers. After I carve they get burned with a torch then wire brushed leaving a great texture for dry brushing.
