A ? about OMA-DM on a newish Android phone
I installed AVG anti virus on this phone last week, (I have used the company on previous lap tops & phones wit out issues over the last 10 yrs).
Today running my usual midday cache clearing, virus scans, AVG tells me that OMA-DM is malware that "could" harm my phone & that they recommend deactivating the app.
Do I absolutely need OMA-DM? The pages I found on it are both yeah, remove it & , no don't remove it.
I know there always bloatware on all phone operating systems.
Help
