I just started reading a Buzzfeed article on 50 Forgotten Trends...

...and I came across No. 8: Creepy Clowns in 2016

Sounds vaguely familiar but I figure, in hindsight, that trend would've fizzled once the reality set in that said clowns had invaded the White House, right?

Some people were freaking out about it. Makes me wonder how much of it was manufactured to create an atmosphere of fear.
