My family has bearded collies for a very long time. We had a border collie who was very neurotic.

My border collie/collie mix by a large turkey statue. My aussie by a pig statue (it actually was more abstract). My daughter's border collie by the local college mascot panther statue.

I've had four in my lifetime and they are all herding machines. I can't even mow the lawn with my current BC...she herds the mower and bites the wheels...same with the string trimmer. It's a safety issue at this point...she just can't handle it. This dog piddles when the UPS guy gives her a biscuit but she'll eat a lawn mower no problem. She also herds the laundry as I take it out of the dryer...she just stares down each piece of clothing as it hits the basket then she herds me up the stairs and stares at it while I fold it. Border collies are wonderful little weirdos.
