Who knew I'd finally outlive Liz WINDSOR, and now recurring buzz that SNL might be on its way out (again) perhaps by the 50th (in a couple of years) but then so might the House of Windsor in its entirety at long last.

*** Sorry I didn't get back about Tom HANKS leaving me cold, like, who could dislike him?!1 - If it's any consolation, I like him better than Nicholas CAGE. But I'm contrarian and have always been out of step with my beloved Lib confreres on *many* topics - like, *never* liked CARLIN, COSBY, Bill MURRAY - and had to keep quiet about it around my pals, who thought those were the cat's pajamas. (No, I'm not THAT old.) - This past year I barely became aware of some dude named Bill BURR and the two minutes I've seen turned me completely off, and yet all the big name comedians seem to curry to him for some reason.

As for HANKS, I sorta was amused in his SCOLARI Bosom Buddies days, then I thought his leaving SCOLARI in the dust was a fluke, and then Forrest Gump did absolutely NOTHING for me, and then whatever other stuff he did just looked canned and uninspired with zero inner life to me. TMI

It's supposed to be a comedy show. But then the one comedian who hosted last season did just fine, but they didn't give him much to work with.

He was flogging a book about how intelligent presidents (Dems) were more intelligent, but the interviewer kept asking why the idiots (RAYGUN) are considered to be more successful.
