She's free range, but sleeps in a tall chicken coop at night. She goes to the bathroom only on her puppy pads. Iguanas can be house trained .She's about 5 feet.
Sweet as all get out. She has gone from the living room basking spot all the way to the dining room when I came over she wanted me to pet her. That melted my heart . She loves getting her nubblies on her head rubbed.

Not as impressive looking though.

Being vegetarians, iguanas are a breeze to care for as far as lizards go since coming up with the live prey most other lizards demand gets real old pretty quick.

I've got a dozen or so live out back by the canal bank 'cause yeah, I live in South Florida. Once they warm up in the sun they start grazing ... looking for all the world like prehistoric cattle.

They're funny to watch interact with one another. A lot of times they'll climb up into the oak tree right outside my window when it gets too warm for them in the Summer as it's the nearest available shade.

We have all kinds of exotic wildlife living here for better or worse.
