On April Fools Day 2021, they displayed on social media a fake "CurderBurger" which was a deep-fried cheese curd the size of a hamburger patty stuffed into a bun. They got such a positive response to the post they figured out how to make a real one - the real one also has a burger patty, because it's a burger - and put 136,000 cheese curd patties into its stores for National Cheese Curd Day on the 15th.
They sold out in two hours.
This year, they bought a million of them and put 1000 patties in each of its stores. So...if you're really interested in consuming an entire week's worth of fat in one sitting then starting on October 12 you've probably got about a day and a half to get to your local Culver's. But be forewarned: the head of Culver's food lab says it is hard to eat this thing because the curds fall out of the breading. It's also about six inches thick. Maybe hold it vertically?

Also while visiting the original Culvers you can Eagle watch over the Wisconsin River. In addition, you need to enter the Cow Chip throwing contest Labor Day.
Forward Wisconsin!

When we moved seven years ago to our current home just outside Houston, we found one located about a mile away. We eat there all the time, so I hope this thing makes it to us!
