Does anyone here also love Juice Newton?

My late wife absolutely loved her and dragged me to every concert of hers that were in our area at the time, eventually, she grew on me and now I love to hear her sing, she has a mixture of country western, rhythm and blues and soft rock.
She is gorgeous.

4. I always enjoyed her stuff, but my lasting memory involving Juice Newton

came when I was working weekends at a country station. Every Sunday afternoon, a guy who had obviously just gotten out of bed with a massive hangover would call. He had a southern accent (this was northern Iowa). His request was unvarying: “Hey, pardner. I’d like to request a little thing called-a Queen a Hearts.”

This went on all three years I worked there, including long after the song was a hit, and had been moved to gold, where it might get played once a month — and not always on a Sunday afternoon.
