Apparently that’s Bill Gate’s first word according to this article.

"If you play SALET and you play intelligently you can assuredly win the game within five guesses," researcher and MIT Ph.D. student Alex Paskov tells CNBC Make It. "You don't even need that last guess."

The reason SALET is a more optimal guess than fan favorites like ADIEU and AUDIO is because, on average, it helps narrow down the possible answers in Wordle's word bank the fastest. On average, the algorithm solved Wordle's puzzles in 3.421 guesses when starting with SALET.

Ok, so most of the time I don’t repeat a letter that I KNOW is a fail. But, I was getting desperate and annoyed! So I repeated the S and the E a couple times but it got me closer in the end!!

WordleBot is an app you can run after a game is finished to evaluate how well you played -- it can't give you any hints while you're playing. I think someone mentioned a helper program that shows you the remaining possibilities, but yeah, that wouldn't be much fun.
