I raised the blind, looked out the window and observed that it had fucking snowed. I'm not ready for this.

Went back in and put on a t-shirt for my morning vape on the back patio.
Conversely to you, I was quite excited by this development

Grossly anachronistic.

(33,643 posts)I don't have a wife, and when I did I certainly never raised a hand to her, nor would I ever.
Hope yours and Cilla's tender sensibilities are assuaged, and that I didn't ruin your entire day

(21,468 posts)Looks like we wil have a more typical winter here than in the past few years. Probably very cold and lots of snow, although it doesn't get as bad here as in Minnesota or the Dakotas.
For about 5 years we have had long, warm autumns, light snow in winter and reasonable winter temps.
But this year, the leaves started turning brilliant colors sooner and temps dropped to 50s and 40s in the daytime for several days, with an occasional day in the 60s. So I expect an early snowfall and steady snow all winter. Maybe a blizzard. It's been a while since we had one.
