I announced a few days ago my purchase of a bottle of Ukrainian corn vodka, and my plans to try it out tonight.
Well, I apologize. The tasting is deferred until later this weekend. I had to finish off my bottle of Smirnoff Lemon. Thats done. Now its on to the drinking!
I love you all

(66,380 posts)Ive had Ouzo and retsina, under the best possible circumstances, too: with some delicious Greek food and in the company of a wonderful Greek family.
Never had grappa, though.

Not as bad as moonshine mezcal, not as good as Smirnoff rye vodka.
