2. BTW, the Lab breeder/trainer that says they do, indeed point, is quite correct.

My own dog behaves this way when I open the front door because she wants to make sure there are no wild rabbits near the door as there frequently are--and she knows she is not to scare them.

..im gonna put them in the grass and see what my Goldens do. I know the rat terrier will lift his leg on one...


But when my Goldens see a California Ground Squirrel at the bird feeder (or a chipmunk, a tree squirrel or a leaf flapping mysteriously in the tree)..... they are very still with a steely glare.

He sees the faux cats and decides it would be funny if he posed frozen with them. I get it.
