Coursing is racing dogs across country. You set up a lure (we used to use a plastic grocery bag), run off a car battery around a 600 or so, foot wire, zig-zagging course. Mostly retired off-the-track greyhounds (we had 2), with a few Borzois. The dogs LOVED IT! One time, somebody brought in several Jack Russells, and all the Sighthounds starting jittering, thinking THOSE were going to be the lures!
