All the actors and character actors are just great, but Maria Kennedy Doyle is the glue that holds it together. She starts out as the recipe advisor for a paper, and when she gets fired, works her way into an advice columnist position, using her recipes to help people through their problems. One of those people turns out to be a victim of a crime, and Tannie Maria, her columnist name, it on the trail to discover who killed her.
In her pursuit for truth we comes across lots of individuals with interesting backstories, and their secrets. As it turns out, Tannie Maria has a secret of her own.

The music has a bit of a Dexter vibe, which I enjoy.
It also reminds me of a show that only ran for 1 season that I really liked The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency.
So far, so good; thanks for the tip!
