Finally cracked my bottle of Ukrainian vodka. It’s smooth, slightly fruity, and wonderful. A few evaluative sips, then a couple of shots to get the party started.

Now enjoying a Sherry Sangaree. Dry sherry, Cointreau, and simple syrup over ice. Yummy.

2. I like the way alcohol makes me feel.

I like the feeling enough not to want to ruin it with overuse. So I limit myself to weekends. I like to try new things, and I’m working my way through my cocktail encyclopedia in search of new pleasures.

5. I found a new one at at restaurant.

Prosecco and Elderflower liquor over ice. Refreshing, but the liquor is high alcohol content.
