I can cut and paste sounds on my laptop.
It's utterly amazing they did this by splicing bits of recording tape together.

first did it unintentionaly. then a porpose built machine .
discovered that if one put a radio next to it u could hear play music
. then they added a speaker .
in my church we have a machine that sounds like an organ and plays hyms . im sure u could do a lot with audacity and other aps and synths . truly old skwell.

was a soviet spy. it would be neat to hear dr who on either.
