Personally, I don’t like when the groomers cut their fur to make em look like..whatever it is. But, he sure looks happy n well cared for in a home of cat lovers 🐾

I cat-sat for a gal who would get that lion cut for her long-haired black cat, but he did not seem to mind

and her behavior noticeably changed - it was clear that she was more comfortable during the heat waves. (But it was also clear that she always knew when we were laughing at her ridiculous 'outfit,' so we had to be discreet. )

very prone to hideous matting and unfortunately was NOT a fan of brushing so I think the lion cut was a bit of a remedy....as I said, the cat definitely didn't seem to mind (although I couldn't help but snicker when I saw her)
