My bank got my 299 dollars back. I got my statement today and it's back in my account. YEAH.

I guess Huntingdon Bank went after Victoria's Secret. The money was replaced. However, I wonder how the person wearing the items feels about using and in a way stealing money to have the items. Like I said in the previous post, if it was at a food store --I would understand. Victoria's Secret isn't a necessity.

Thank you to all DU posters who helped me to see the light of not using them as a credit card.

I’ve only had one such incident and the crook was an idiot. He ordered pizza delivery. I called the small restaurant and got his name and address. If that wasn’t dumb enough, he paid the court a court ordered few hundred dollars that I assumed was child support. Amex reimbursed me and wouldn’t tell me if / how they would pursue it. I believe my number was copied by a hotel clerk since that’s the only place I used the corporate card in that city.

from the bank. I did think about calling the store in Ohio and finding out the person who used it. But I figured it best not to be involved-let the bank and business take care of it. When I originally posted the problem on DU, I realized not to use the
debit card. I'm glad you got your money back too.

Depends on your profession I suppose. Not that I'm belittling exotic dancers, hey it's your choice and your right to it.

Still not your right to use someone else's money to fill you're necessities . . .
