I guess Huntingdon Bank went after Victoria's Secret. The money was replaced. However, I wonder how the person wearing the items feels about using and in a way stealing money to have the items. Like I said in the previous post, if it was at a food store --I would understand. Victoria's Secret isn't a necessity.
Thank you to all DU posters who helped me to see the light of not using them as a credit card.

(23,698 posts)Ive only had one such incident and the crook was an idiot. He ordered pizza delivery. I called the small restaurant and got his name and address. If that wasnt dumb enough, he paid the court a court ordered few hundred dollars that I assumed was child support. Amex reimbursed me and wouldnt tell me if / how they would pursue it. I believe my number was copied by a hotel clerk since thats the only place I used the corporate card in that city.

(25,218 posts)from the bank. I did think about calling the store in Ohio and finding out the person who used it. But I figured it best not to be involved-let the bank and business take care of it. When I originally posted the problem on DU, I realized not to use the
debit card. I'm glad you got your money back too.

Still not your right to use someone else's money to fill you're necessities . . .
