'The plaintive voice of a neglected child' - The Beatles / Yellow Submarine.
No one knew that Yellow Submarine began as life as John Lennon channeling loneliness. Until now. The origins of Yellow Submarine was released for the first time this week. John and Paul then worked on turning childhood neglect , into the playful, joyous song for children that everybody knows.
The yellow submarine is an imaginary friend.
