10. Its been raining on and off since yesterday

Here in the great pacific northwest of California.

I got up as it seemed cold in the house. It was 63 degrees inside, 38 degree outside! I've got the heat on now. It only takes a few minutes to heat up to 70 as I live in a small redwood house.

Luckily, LHEAP gave me a good amount of money (funds left from last year) towards my PG&E bill so no worries for a few months.

I also get baseline medical due to my disability which is affected by the temperature. It is the only assistance I receive and I gladly take it when I can get through on the phone. Its like ye old Dialing for Dollars reaching them!

Finally got some rain yesterday, and today was chilly, feeling like fall.

It was in the 50s. Temps dropped all day, started dropping frozen stuff around noon but around 10:30 last night it started to snow. Looks like about a foot and still coming down, +21F.
