If so, it's deserved. In my defense, I was trying to evoke the memory of Carly Simon's vain ex-boyfriend, but that's no excuse.
Come to think of it, "Carly Simon's ex-boyfriend" rarely makes for a good excuse.

I just thought she was a beautiful creature and used "she" as I saw her as a female all bejeweled as she was.
OK did I use "she' enough in that sentence?
