Opinion on escape rooms

I broke news my girlfriend and I are getting married on paper. But we also wanna do something special with our besties who are gonna be our witnesses. We wanna do like a little dinner and something fun. I've always wanted to do an escape room. My girlfriend was instantly on board.

Has anyone ever done one and if so. Are they fun? Its gonna be about 5 people. Us included.

They are a lot of fun - more fun than I expected for a work team builder!

We had a group of 6 and still got put with other people. Might want to check on that if you were hoping to just be the 5 of you. Have fun! Great idea!

Loved it as a work holiday activity & wanted to book one with family. That was a 2 months before covid. They closed for quite some time, and I got sidetracked. Highly recommend tho!
