Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsWell, I missed out on Powerball, but I did win EUR 650,000 from EuroMillions!
All I have to do is send them my bank account information and I'm in the money.
Funny things is, I don't even remember entering.

(5,434 posts)I've won millions.
Must get around to claiming those sometime. No rush.
Seriously, how transparent can some scams be?

(54,437 posts)He got the usual, "I need $10,000 to free up millions, of which you can have half" email.
He said absolutely! He was in. In fact, he had a trust fund worth half a million that he would gladly invest, Unfortunately there was a penalty clause in place that blocked him from access to the half million for ten years, so if the scammers would please contact him again in ten years, he would be happy to send the money. They tried every suggestion, but he said no, his funds were blocked, in the hands of lawyers with specific instructions, etc., but in ten years, he would be ready and willing! He just didn't have the $10,000 to pay the penalty, and how he WISHED he did, etc etc. They actually SENT him the $10,000, upon which his email account (and fictitious address) vanished from the face of the earth.
