My sister lives in Northern California...
I stayed by her in 2021 when I took a trip out there.

It doesn't ever look like anything even close to that.
But, I am at sea level. The ocean is about a mile or so away from where I live.
It is bitter cold here right now outside, but no snow today or rarely ever.
