I mean, if maybe the dates got so expensive that they would have to charge a lot more for the mix and then People wouldn’t want to pay that much for it. That’s just a guess.

I couldn't get the mix for a long time. Remebered my Gram used to make them. After looking though all of my old and vintage cook books, I found the recipe. I make them for Christmas once in awhile.
