(2,026 posts)For years and years, I've been hearing about how good Ben and Jerry's ice cream is. So, every time somebody recommends it to me, I say, okay, the next time I go to the grocery store, I'll get some and try it. But then, when I get to the grocery store, I can't find Ben and Jerry's chocolate ice cream. Why can't I ever find chocolate? There are all these crazy exotic weird flavors, but never any CHOCOLATE! So every time that has happened, I always ended up buying Hagen Dazs chocolate ice cream instead. Hagen Dazs is really good ice cream too, and they have it in CHOCOLATE! Until I can find Ben and Jerry's chocolate ice cream, I never will try Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Chocolate is the only flavor of ice cream I ever eat, it's the only flavor of ice cream I ever want.

(53,066 posts)They do a brownie chocolate. All their flavors have stuff mixed in. Cherry Garcia is awfully good.

(2,331 posts)However I can only get it on the rare occasions when I am near a Ben and Jerry's store.
The supermarkets only have the chocolate with chocolate brownie. Frustrating!

(3,918 posts)I would normally eat 1/3 to 1/2 at one sitting, not the whole thing at one go. When I eat ice cream, I want the fat. The lower fat concoctions make it up with sugar, which is just not as satisfying. Coconut based stuff can almost be satisfying, but not soy, rice or other things used for fake ice cream.

(34,447 posts)And beware of the "gluten-free" Mongolian Beef lunch bowl at P.F. Chang's. I ordered it by mistake and yuck. Unless you're allergic to gluten, steer clear. Gluten-free soy and hoisin sauce DO NOT taste the same as regular.
