Another great voice being silenced by ALS

I first heard this most beautiful voice around 1971. I think she was on the Tonight Show, singing “Killing Me Softly” or “The Fiirst Time i Saw Your Face” The lovely Roberta Flack.

She was from D.C. and had a cool, funny song about a preacher who was really good-looking, and was being pursued by Satan’s daughter. She then recorded Killing Me Softly and instantly became known nationwide.
