Nothing earth-shattering...
but I am feeling so happy in this moment. On a personal level, everything is going right (in this moment!) among my loved ones. What better feeling is there?
Nationally, globally...I see that there are a LOT of good people out there. A lot of caring, aware, activist people. It feels like we have a bit of a leg up right now. It also feels like we've learned a lot over the past 6+ years, and we are less likely to be caught flat-footed by our goodheartedness, our core belief that humans are fundamentally good. We've seen the other side, we are smarter, and we are prepared going forward!
It occurs to me to appreciate these moments. They can be fleeting. Fully living in the gratitude of the moment is something I think age has given me.
