My doggie did something similar when he was a puppy, except it was with a clove of garlic I dropped while cooking. He scarfed it up, bit into it, promptly spit it out, and barked ferociously at it -- like he was mad at the clove of garlic for not tasting good! lol
that made me laugh. i have chihuahuas so you know i can really imagine that scenario!

TG yams for the family. Her portion is mashed with no salt, sugar, or butter. Goes a treat on top boring kibble.

but wanted nothing to do with it. same way with blueberries. she's a picky dog, go figure - i didn't even know they existed.

this dog will chew her Simparica happily; the other, I have to smash up and add to his wet food. He likes blueberries. our best friends are like little humans sometimes.

Me: I told you you wouldnt like coffee. The look of aversion on her furry face is something and she doesnt punish me.
Now I gotta watch that vid again.
