(118,633 posts)too afraid to hike most. But I would assign personalities to them. Leroy was sharp, Mt. Victoria regal, St Pyran was Mormon ( because i loved the way a Utah woman pronounced it), Castle Mountain was gargantuan, Fairview was young.... and on and on.

(115,681 posts)But frozen lakes are often lumpy, not smooth and glassy as in the video, so it was usually a challenge to avoid tripping over a crack or some loose chunk of ice and falling on your ass.
