too afraid to hike most. But I would assign personalities to them. Leroy was sharp, Mt. Victoria regal, St Pyran was Mormon ( because i loved the way a Utah woman pronounced it), Castle Mountain was gargantuan, Fairview was young.... and on and on.

Ii used to skate on frozen pasture in England... you could see the plant life through the ice!!

But frozen lakes are often lumpy, not smooth and glassy as in the video, so it was usually a challenge to avoid tripping over a crack or some loose chunk of ice and falling on your ass.

see the glacier is smaller. Beautiful to see it in winter. So pretty.
