I am having chocolate chip cookies and doritos!

Should've bought the peas! Would've been healthier.

Although I did buy an avocado and some black beans, which I had for dinner.

like I'm having a cream ale when I eat them. They taste like that sort of. Hard to explain. They are nice with dip too. But I prefer them on their own. I just wish they were filling.

i had it in a bowl because I eat too slowly to try and just eat it from the wrapper. I never finish before it's melted all over me.

It reminds me of my favorite gardening chore growing up (perhaps the ONLY one I liked) --
picking peas. "One for the bucket... one for MFM. One for the bucket... one for MFM"
etc. etc.

HEY... I got a small jar of red pepper jelly yesterday. Over the weekend, I'm going to
make myself a cream cheese and jelly omelet.
.
Maybe splash it with some hot sauce.
.
Deglaze the pan with a quart of tequila.

Sorry.

restaurant. My wonderful bosses used to give me lunch and I got to like hot food. Off of it now. I found the peppers in the red pepper jelly hot enough for me.

Tonight, I had my first crack at chicken marsala. I didn't have marsala so I used a mix of red wine and port. It wasn't bad.

I made a really nice baked chicken in yogurt and curry last week.

For our weekly Sunday dinner I'm planning on making chicken piccata for blogslut jr. and me. Mmmm. Capers.

Man were they good. Very few places serve them anymore and those that do usually cook them in the same frying grease as the dead animal parts so we can't eat them. These were vegan frozen ones and I cooked them in the oven (microwave makes the coating gooey). Yum.
