Should've bought the peas! Would've been healthier.
Although I did buy an avocado and some black beans, which I had for dinner.

HEY... I got a small jar of red pepper jelly yesterday. Over the weekend, I'm going to
make myself a cream cheese and jelly omelet.
.
Maybe splash it with some hot sauce.
.
Deglaze the pan with a quart of tequila.

(38,016 posts)Tonight, I had my first crack at chicken marsala. I didn't have marsala so I used a mix of red wine and port. It wasn't bad.
I made a really nice baked chicken in yogurt and curry last week.
For our weekly Sunday dinner I'm planning on making chicken piccata for blogslut jr. and me. Mmmm. Capers.

(47,675 posts)Man were they good. Very few places serve them anymore and those that do usually cook them in the same frying grease as the dead animal parts so we can't eat them. These were vegan frozen ones and I cooked them in the oven (microwave makes the coating gooey). Yum.
