The "seasoned" part means it was fried in sesame oil with salt. It's often used as a quick wrap for rice and kim chi. Originally, laver was scraped off of the pilings at the piers and pressed into paper sheets dried between a bamboo lattice. Now it is grown in pools and commercially produced. Still, I don't want mine flavored like wang. I don't even know what wang tastes like. I'm a guy.
