I have to go downtown today.

Get to see the Detroit River, the Windsor skyline, and enjoy some freeway driving. I can sneak a few minutes to walk across the street from the "Coleman A. Young Municipal Center", my official destination, to walk down to the riverfront in Hart Plaza.

And that makes me very happy!

This is the downtown downtown, right across the street from the world headquarters of General Motors. It's slightly aged, but very nice. They also have heavy police presence, and its mostly "suits" walking around.
