(46,179 posts)Every Friday night, whether we were at her house or mine, I suffered through it.
I also met Danny Bonaduce in private life during that time, and was further offended.
I was told by a great DUer, 8 or 9 years ago, that he grew out of his entitled attitude later in life into a decent man, so I won't trash him further with details of his childhood.

She seemed too much like the little wretches who used to pick on me in school.

(21,925 posts)I was about 13 when I saw her in Disney's Summer Magic and she was just a year or two older than I. I wanted to run away to Hollywood and become a movie star in the hopes of meeting her and I checked books out of the library all summer on method acting, the Stanislavski Method and the like. Yeah, I was real naive as a kid in the early 60s.
And going way, way back to about the time I was four years old in the 1950s and they were showing old Flash Gordon re-runs on TV, I had a big interest in Jean Rogers who played Flash Gordon's girlfriend Dale Arden. At the age of four I didn't know what sex was all about but I had a little playset of Flash Gordon action figures and I remember that I loved to touch the Dale Arden one and got very excited.

(10,418 posts)They say that that attraction is cultural, but it felt really primal to me when I was a kid.
Edit for clarity and to add that my mom called her Adrian Barboobs. I think she caught on to me when I had to catch Swamp Thing every time they showed it on HBO. This was back when they played the same movies several times a month.

Around puberty it is easier to list the ones I didn't who had a budding bust(and more) and a spectacular backside...
Heck, I was one of the first ones to introduce my male friends to Keyra Agustina.

Shame about Thuy, though. Killed in a Car Wreck. Wasn't wearing a seat belt.
Amy however has aged quite nicely:

(21,925 posts)She was the queen of the drive-in cult movies when I was a kid in he 60s. An Italian actress, she sometimes went under the name Sara Bay in the U.S. She did 99 films in her career, opposite actors like Steve Reeves, Joseph Cotton, Farley Granger, and Klaus Kinski in quite a few spaghetti westerns, low-budget horror films, and Hercules movies. She played a harem girl in the 1960s epic, El Cid. She made an incredibly sexy vampire. She had the look of a hungry panther about to devour its prey, with her unbelievable eyes and cheek bones. At one time as a kid, I thought she was the most beautiful woman on Earth.
She's the sultry brunette on the right at the start of this clip.
