....but I don't think so.

The crowd seems to recognize something serious happened, and it's one of the "smarter" wrestling cities (Montreal).

fans at ringside are saying he slumped over and started convulsing and was taken to the back on a stretcher. And the other announcer just said they're doing CPR on him in the back.

I wasn't sure what to tell him. We've talked about how those wrestling shows are fake, but he insisted this was real (I wasn't watching with him).

I hope the guy is ok.

Takes a remarkable guy to keep a secret for that many years. I hope he's okay.

it was some of the most heart-wrenching things that I've seen since Owen Hart's death. After every commercial break and silent hype for the upcoming PPV, I was expecting the worst. In a way, I still am, slightly.

I just hope that Jerry's able to make a decent recovery after all that's happened, and my respect for Michael Cole has strengthened after all he did tonight.

Get well soon, Jerry. Eddie and Andy can wait a bit more.

and when Michael Cole came back on the air he was as white as a ghost. He told the audience this was NOT part of the show and that Jerry had collapsed and was being attended to by doctors in the back. He gave several updates through the rest of the show, each more encouraging than the last.

I hope the King makes a complete and speedy recovery.

The CT scan revealed no brain damage and Lawler's already made a phone call to Michael Cole, as well as talking w/ friends and family!

Sounds like the King will make a full recovery. Now for pete's sake Jerry, it's time to hang up the boots for good. We want you doing commentary for a long while yet!

the fac that he had been wrestling around twice a week at various independent shows, and had just returned from a two-night tour in Aruba before heading to Montreal for Raw.

Ironically, that match w/ Orton against CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler may have saved his life if it accelerated the heart attack by even an hour or so.
