"Snow Blind - A Brief Career in the Cocaine Trade" -- One of the most fun books I've ever read,

.
.
.
A true story (though, I've always suspected, embellished and exagerrated) of a cocaine
smuggler in the late 60's - early 70's (before hijacking security was stepped up). He was
somewhere in his 40's before he even smoked a joint, I believe.
.
A fun romp -- described by no less than Hunter S. Thompson thusly:
.
"A flat-out ballbuster. It moves like a threshing machine with a fuel tank full of ether."
.
Though to tell the truth, I think Thompson described "A Tale of Two Cities" like that, too.
.
.
.
Funny, exciting, informative about its age and the smuggling trade, it's among the top 10
books that I recommend for reading. Hard-to-find -- but Amazon has it for $8.80 on Kindle.
