(53,410 posts)but in no time it would look like a piece of garbage if people actually lived in it. Where are the messy closets, the garage with the tool boxes and the big sink for messy jobs, and the cabinet under the kitchen sink with all the cleaners and buckets? Where's the bathtub and shower and toilet? Hell! Where's the catch-all den with the giant screen to watch football games and the computer for the computer games? Where are the baby toys?
I think it's meant to be art.

(15,774 posts)where you can have 100% humidity and no rain. And combine that with subtropical temps and you have a recipe for disaster.

(1,353 posts)of the amount of water in the air....100% humidity means all the air has been replaced by water. Dew point is what you want to pay attention to. Any dew point above 70% is uncomfortably humid.

(15,774 posts)it is all mute, no matter the method of measurement. We have numerous bayous and the Gulf of Mexico. Trust me when I say, you can have 100% humidity and even a high dew point (which we frequently do), and still no rain. This is one reason why our poor asthmatics were having such problems during Ike. No power for cooling and heavy air. I am not asthmatic but I was having trouble breathing.
The nice perk....your skin looks younger, less dried out. It is a continual sauna. I don't even waste my money on moisturizers. When I went west this summer, I couldn't drink enough water or use enough lotion. The further west I went, the worse it got.

(4,822 posts)you can see right through to the living room below. That's just too wild. The floors are glass too. I love the idea but I would settle for some glass walls with a solid roof and floor myself. If you notice there are some opaque less transparent drapes that blend in that could be pulled closed for more privacy.
