Today’s College Football Thread (9/22/12)

A lot of good games on tap today, especially later tonight when there are four games between ranked teams ...

#18 Michigan at #11 Notre Dame
#15 Kansas State at #6 Oklahoma
#10 Clemson at #4 Florida State
#22 Arizona at #3 Oregon

I'm looking forward to seeing how my Sooners do against a ranked team after a couple of wins against small-conference teams. So who does your team play? What games are you looking forward to?

Florida, South Carolina, first trip to College Station, Alabama, and Mississippi State -- a pretty stout October/early November on the way ... (not that Auburn is a gimme, especially on the road, but they're definitely down this year)

And 9-0 is a good way to start! (Although I would have liked a better look at that safety, seemed close)...

It looked pretty bad when Utah got beat by Utah State, but then the Aggies almost beat Wisconsin on the road. And Utah knocked off BYU.

Hopefully it should be a good matchup for the nightcap tonight

On edit: I guess I won't be able to see it since it's on the Pac 12 network

The Coach's Motto: Win the Day

At least the televised game doesn't conflict with the Timbers soccer game today! I had to miss my Ducks last week because of conflict with Timbers.

Should be interesting to see if Arizona is for real or if the Ducks will shred them ...

Hey,
As a Husker, I can't stand K-State, but have to give their coach credit, coming back and now down go the Sooners. Oh well, my Huskers beat up on a cream puff today.

Peace

Not much else for the Big 10 to cheer about this week. The Illini (my other team) got beat by four touchdowns at home by Louisiana Tech.

No doubt about Bill Snyder though. His team was ready. OU made some really stupid mistakes, especially the fumble into their own end zone for a defensive TD and a fumble at the KSU one taking away an offensive TD. Still, KSU was there to take advantage of those mistakes, and they didn't make any mistakes of their own. They played a good game.

Nephew plays at Wittenberg, they beat Wooster 17-7. His older brother played at Allegheny, Alleghen;y beat Wabash 17-10 in OT. So if Wittenberg can beat Allegheny on 10/20, and not lose a game or even lose to Wabash, Wittenber can take the conference.
