The article said that Pattinson would take Stewart back only if she commits to marriage. In the story Twilight, the Vampire Edward only committed to turning Bella into a vampire if she first committed to marrying him.
So, I have no idea if the article is just gossip tripe, if it's a lucky guess, or if it's on the money, but I thought the parallel was an interesting angle.
