8 years ago. This time it stuck (I hope!!!). He moved to Florida for a change of scenery, eventually got a good job and met his beautiful wife there. They have an awesome little boy, almost 2, and they’re expecting another boy in the fall.
For 6 years prior he caused me endless heartbreaks and stole lots of $$ from me. Terror of getting “that phone call.” I forgive him everything.

It can thoroughly warp even the best people. It's fantastic that he recovered.

But the day they broke ground for the house a friend is building for us to live in for free, was pretty great.

Also after we both retired we took up fishing again. These were halcyon days for sure.

was moving the California. He was an aircraft mechanic for Capital Airlines, who was bought out by United Airlines. They were closing the maintenance at the Washington DC airport and moving all the personnel who wished to go to San Francisco, all expenses paid.

There was no way a family of five at our income level would have been able to afford that move. I can only imagine how different my life would have been had we not have had this opportunity. Almost every good thing that has happened in my life since has had an element of having it happen in California.

I'm sure many people feel the same way about where they have chosen to live.
