Sorry Ari, the "Fallback" segment did not work. (MSNBC - Ari Melber)

Pairing up an English Rapper - who was really hard to understand - with Andrew Weissman..... no chemistry. Happy that you had Weissman for a more sociable type interaction with an entertainer, but no real spark. To his credit, Andrew had the best one-liner at intro - "Do you really want to hear my music?".

Bring on Rob Reiner and pair with Andrew Weismann, that could be interesting.

I really have no problem with Ari's bias to rap entertainer's. In fact, I fully support it. OAITW r.2.0 Mar 22 #3

I know I’m an old fuddy duddy. I don’t want to hear country music singers OR even R&R.

Just the news.

He draws in audiences that tune in for the the celeb, but maybe hang in to hear the message. Over time, that helps build an viewership for Ari and further increases a boost for Joy Reid.

I tune in for Ari's tight legal analysis....I tune out of the Rap thing pretty much totally. I like him bringing divergent pairings of people to spark conversations, but I don't think there was any sparking on this segment tonight.
