Nice To Get Away From Politics

Sitting in Kansas City where college wrestling Nationals have 1 more session tonight.
330 wrestlers, 33 at 10 different weights. My Alma mater Penn State, clinched the team title yesterday, the margin of victory will be a record. Team had 1 3rd place, 1 5th place, and we have 6 wrestlers going for 1st place tonight. If we win 4 firsts out of the 6 we will score a record number of total points.

The Penn State wrestling dynasty continues.

Back to politics Monday.

Kansas City has been a nice town, good food and very clean. Going to Philly next year, already reserved the rooms.

We did something similar two weeks ago. Drove down to Las Vegas for the LAST PAC-12 women's basketball tournament. I'm not fond of Vegas, but the games were great! Always fun to get to know folks from other schools sitting nearby.

Back in the 1930s at NC State in the old Southern Conference. He was small, but you would not cross him. He also wrote the Army manual on dirty fighting for WWII. I learned a fair amount about wrestling from him about 50 years ago.

The feature match tonight, which they have scheduled last, is between an undefeated 3 time national champ from Penn State and an undefeated wrestler from NC State. The winner will most likely get the OW Award.
