I just received a 'phishing' snail mail,,,,

A letter addressed to me saying my extended service warranty on my vehicle is about to run out. No description of the vehicle just a member number. And a phone number to call.

I was taking a second look at it when my phone warned me it was a scam. Good phone. Good good phone.

Of those yesterday. They go right in the shredder. Same thing-no specific vehicle mentioned. I have actually gotten a few of these in the last year.

all the time. And on home warranties also. It's invonceivable to me that a person (particularlly a person who actively maintains the household's finances (would be unaware what warranties they do and don't have. (And the same applies to internet nd cable providers - I get those all tha time too, mostly by email.)
