Niagara
(7,659 posts)On Thursday, I purchased a $5 small woven from the Dollar Tree. I originally purchased this basket for the bathroom and I discovered that this particular baskets fits perfectly in my kitchen cabinets.
Yesterday, I purchased 2 more of these baskets for the kitchen cabinets. The item that I couldn't reach yesterday was a disposable takeout food container. That's why I needed to use the old lady reacher. Lol!
Now that I have placed the discolored disposable takeout food container in the recycling, I have my Keto sugars in one of the woven baskets, sitting on the top shelf. I can actually reach it since it has a handle! It's very easy to take the basket out and place it back in.
Win, win! I love finding solutions!

(212 posts)In order to obtain a certain thickness, you need to mill the foil thinner as it will partly bounce back. But when aiming for the paper thin foil thickness, you would be grinding the milling cilinders against each other. That is why foil is doubled when going through the mill: two sheets in one pass. The matted side is the side that doubles with the second sheet. The gleaming side is in contact with the cilinders and polished.

(212 posts)Yes I have a lot of knowledge that I like to share. Yes I have a lot of experience as an engineer (master, not operator), a firefighter, a medic and major within the belgian FEMA. I have an iq above 165 and am one of the experts when nuclear goes to smitherinnes (Did you know Belgium is the number one in the world in sanitizing nuclear sites intö residential areas? Ever heard about Mhyrra, the first sub critical nuclear reactor?) But I will never forget where I come from. I will always honour my 'simple' parents (My mother as a 16 year old was heavily committed to fighting the nazi s with a unique mission, every week for four years.) who were witloof (there is an English term but I don t recall) farmers and gave me the opportunity to study and become who I am. Only love and mutual understanding is what counts. And humour 😉

Or Boeing would change the wing configuration, or they would find another solution. Hence the depleted uranium and why I never sit behind the wing.

FirefighterJo
(212 posts)Protocol dictates that take off is performed manually by both pilots. It used to be hand in hand pushing the throttles. Landing is done solely by the plane...
debm55
(25,326 posts)FirefighterJo
(212 posts)You have ILS , instrument landing system and VFR, visual flight rules. Protocol nowadays demands commercial flights to maximize on ILS.
FirefighterJo
(212 posts)Behind the both hands trotthle up is a dual signal. On one one side, both pilots need to feel confident about the plane before switching land to air. But by taking the throttle together they send the clear message of we have each other s back. The horror tales that are 0.0001% of daily life are to be dismissed. 99.999% of the pilots are able masters. So enjoy the flight

This, combined with the fact the Cavendish is planted in dense chunks in a monoculture without other natural species to serve as a buffer, makes the Cavendish extremely vulnerable to disease, fungal outbreaks, and genetic mutation, possibly leading to eventual commercial extinction.

How do I know? Because, as a chemist, I know the strange water molecule has a cool dipole moment with an asymmetrical stretch that affords it a unique property: water is most dense at 4 degrees C. Its always at the bottom of the lake. Anything warmer is less dense, anything colder is less dense.
