just in case you were wondering: Uncontrolled Decompression of an airplane...

not a whole lotta fun.
Yesterday afternoon...
the pilot did a good job of getting us diverted and on the ground as soon as he could...
we were lucky to have been near an airport and not over the Rockies or water or some shit like that.
For about 15 minutes, that was some scary scary shit, and I pretty much thought that was it.

and all that....
I had to put the mask on, and I was pretty much trying to figure out how I would get to the exit.
They were prepping us for a problem at landing...thank god landing was uneventful.

We apparently lost pressure slowly and not quickly...
I learned that it would have been foggy and wouldn't have been able to see a thing if we lost pressure quickly.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm glad I'm ok too.

he said....
so why didn't anyone just open a window?
He knew I would pick up on it....so I said
Who do you think I am, Ann Romney?

At least we had a good laugh.

Thanks

This would be the ultimate nightmare (besides fear of the plane going down, obviously)

A tension pneumothorax @30,000 feet is bone-chilling....

Edit: Very glad you are safe!

every body looked around each other at first...
and I said out loud
"is this for real?"

I heard someone else say..."this is NOT happening"

Glad YOU were not on the flight then.
